An elementary school teacher in Clovis has been arrested on charges of sex abuse.

An elementary school teacher in Clovis has been arrested on charges of sex abuse, after federal investigators found footage of a girl, a student at the school, performing oral sex on him. The victim was 7 years old.

The abuse occurred at the Freedom Elementary School in Clovis.  The abuse apparently came to light when the girl’s mother became suspicious after she could not find the child outside with the rest of the class during physical education.  She also noted that the Clovis teacher Neng Yang was also not with the rest of the class.  She contacted Clovis police with information.  Just 2 days later, authorities arrested Yang.  He has been charged with producing child porn, and has pleaded not guilty to charges of molestation.

Parents of other children at Freedom Elementary School are naturally concerned about their children.  There have been no other reports of abuse involving any other children in the school.

According to federal investigators, the abuse took place in an empty classroom where Yang brought the second grader.  He made the girl perform oral sex on him, and videotaped it on his cell phone.  The child was lured by what he called a ‘lollipop game.’  Federal investigators later found images on his cell phone detailing the abuse.  The child had been blindfolded at the time.  Police also found a number of other sexual explicit images and videos on the cell phone.  There were also images from the teacher’s external hard drives as well as on his school-issued computer.

According federal investigators, the teacher frequently kept the child behind after class hours.  The victim was frequently kept behind during lunch hour, recess hour and during physical education time.  The Clovis Police Department is asking parents who suspect that their children have also been abused, to come forward and talk to police.

Yang has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts in the Fresno County Superior Court.  He has also pleaded not guilty to a federal count of producing child pornography.  He is being held on a $4.5 million bail.

The news of this horrifying sexual abuse in Clovis broke even as San Diego sex abuse lawyers found about the long-term sexual abuse perpetrated by a schoolteacher.  In that incident, the 61-year-old teacher allegedly abused several children between age 6 and 10 over a five-year period.  The abuse took place in the teacher’s classroom, and investigators have already unearthed hundred of images that show victims bound up and abused.
