A 40-year-old man was hit in the early hours while he was walking along the street.

Yet another pedestrian has been killed in an accident on Highland Avenue between Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards in Hollywood.  The 40-year-old man was walking in the early hours of the morning when he was hit by a taxi cab, and sustained fatal injuries.  Los Angeles police are still investigating the accident.

The city of San Francisco has become dangerous for pedestrians over the years, to the point where there are at least two pedestrian accidents every day.  A new report by Streets Blog shows the economic toll of these distractions.  The data has been compiled by the Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee.  According to the Committee, there are more than 800 pedestrian accidents a year in San Francisco, and these contribute to a $76 million dollar bill for injuries.

Murietta Man Seriously Injured in Los Angeles Party Bus Accident

Party Bus Pedestrian AccidentA Murietta man is in a serious condition after sustaining injuries in a pedestrian accident involving a Los Angeles party bus.  The 22-year-old man was trying to catch the bus on North McFadden Place at Yucca Street when he was struck by the bus which was turning southbound.  The victim ended up underneath the bus, and sustained serious injuries.
